Glossybox Aloha June 2020

A new month means a new Glossybox and July definitely did not disappoint. This month's box was 'Aloha' themed, filled with tropical summer vibes, and it's absolutely gorgeous. I really love the effort that Glossybox make with packaging, special edition as well as the classic pink box, as they can definitely be recycled and used again for some pretty storage. I use all my old Glossybox's to store bits and bobs and it makes everything look so much more organised!

Usually, with subscription boxes, there is at least one product I am slightly less fussed over although I can't say that for this one. I try and avoid looking at the 'sneak peak' emails Glossy send out because I like the surprise when I pull the ribbon off the tissue paper so everything is a complete surprise to me each month.

'The Beauty Crop Palm Balm Lip and Cheek Tint'

As I write this I have tested it twice, once just to try out the colour (Mauve Wave) and again for a real wear and tear test.

I'm obsessed with the Rosy Lips Vaseline which I apply 500x a day. I usually refuse to wear anything else on my lips as nothing gives the same hydration as Vaseline and I hate that 'lipstick' feeling. I don't see this taking its place, but I can see it being a slightly more dolled up substitute perhaps.

'Give Them Lala Aloha Bronzer'

It has just been my birthday, and I was lucky enough to be gifted a new bronzer (Too Faced Sun Bunny, which I ADORE) as my previous once was on its last legs, so it'll be a while before I give. this one a go. The shade looks right up my street and having swatched it on my hand it seems lovely!

'Jecca Blac Glow Drops'

Today I have applied this before my foundation. I usually use the Illamasqua Hydra Veil Primer but I swapped it out for this and honestly, I was concerned. I looked greasy and sticky but I decided to stick with it and I'm glad I did. After applying my base and powders everything looked better and my skin looks so refreshed. (I look like I've just drunk 5 litres of water) I'll see how it lasts which is my biggest concern when using a new primer, but so far so good.

'Naobay Orange Hand Cream'

The scent for this is absolutely gorgeous! I enjoy hand cream as much as the next person, but I feel as though my boyfriend will get more use out of this one. He has hand calluses (or 'gym hands') and it's so rough so he could really do with a consistent hand cream routine to help with that. He won't be using it all though because this stuff smells too good.

'Kocostar Watermelon Slice Mask'

Now, who doesn't love a face mask? It's almost guaranteed at this point to receive a face mask in every single Glossybox. It's a shame because it takes up one of the 5 products you get every month but I can't say I haven't still used them all so I'm not that disappointed. A face mask is always great for a night in.
