February 2018 - Time of The Month

Hello!

It's that time again. This month it snowed! The beast from the east got us and a couple days of snow make the whole of England lose their minds. Personally, I love snow and the last time it properly snowed here was around 2010, meaning it's been 8 years since I've walked on a blanket of flakes and flurries. Despite the cold, and oh boy was it freezing (I wore tights under my jeans most days), it's all over now and we're back to raindrops falling on my window.

I've had a couple of auditions for universities this month and I've been accepted to all of them! I have one left to do, but that's not till the start of April so once that is over with comes the difficult decision of choosing where I want to be for the next 3 years of my life. I'm so excited though; to finally start doing what I love and moving away to somewhere completely new. I'll be so sad to leave my work family, they've all been nothing but supportive through all of this and I'm already mentally preparing for the day I have to finally say goodbye. *

Chummy (Katie) and I went on yet another good night out. Oh boy do we love our PopWorld. We haven't been to our favourite club in so long, it felt like coming home. We danced till I physically couldn't anymore and ate all the chicken from Ken's afterwards. It's a tradition of ours that I love and I'm going to miss so much when I move away.

I'm really rubbish at this whole monthly thing already because not only did January's TOTM include an event from December, I also forgot to write about probably the most interesting thing I did that month so I'm going to put it in here...

I went to Edinburgh to visit my brother and it was so nice! I went with my Mum, Uncle and Nan and we stayed for two nights on the Royal Mile. I think I was the most excited to be there for reasons other than visiting my brother as there is so much Harry Potter history there. I walked around places that inspired J.K Rowling to create the fantasy world and it made me feel like a kid again. I have such a big place in my heart for the wizarding world, I can't wait to go back and explore some more. Oh, and see my brother again.

I've been expanding my Spotify again, the playlists are bigger than before and my 'chill' playlist has over 60 songs in it. Some songs I've been loving this month are:

I haven't been watching much on Netflix recently, aside from 'Stranger Things' again, which I've been watching with my uncle as he has never seen it. He's really loving it and it's nice for me to rewatch it as it's been a while since I've seen S1. We're almost finished with it now though so I do need some recommendations of what to watch next???

That's pretty much it for this month. My next TOTM will most likely include which university I have accepted to attend. Eeeek!! Exciting times.
